CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) POLICY

Our comprehensive CSR policy outlines the programmes we undertake to create a positive impact on our stakeholders. Our CSR committee reviews, monitors and provides strategic inputs on our sustainability efforts.

We collaborate with non-profit organizations to design and run programmes on animal husbandry, and sustainable and resilient farming. In 2019 we have trained more than 5000 farmers in integrated animal husbandry training helping them enhance their income levels by adopting best practices in Dairy farming.

As part of our support services to dairy farmers we provide free vet camps, the animals are checked by expert doctors and medicines are distributed to the farmers free of cost. On an average every year we reach out to more than 10,000 farmers providing them with free vet services.

We work with government schools near our plants to support them with required infrastructure like school benches, drinking water facility, Digital learning appliances like computers, projectors etc which help children in schools have a holistic learning environment.

Volunteering is integral part of our community initiatives, we facilitate employees to identify suitable volunteering opportunities wherein they can contribute their time and resources. We celebrate 5th December every year as Godrej Global volunteering day across all our plants with specific theme each year.
